A new event to raise money for needed updates on the Lake Panorama National golf course will be Saturday, Aug. 29, 4-7 p.m., at Boulder Beach. Tickets are $40 and will go on sale July 1.
Blues and BBQ is a modified version of the 20 Men Who Can Cook events held in October the last two years. Those took place inside the LPN conference center with attendees picking up sample food items from cooks spaced throughout the banquet room.
Volunteers organizing this year’s Blues and BBQ said they wanted to take this fundraising opportunity outside, with the guest chefs preparing barbecued meats and related side dishes.
The event also will include live music from the Brick ‘n Bob Duo.
More details will be released in late June.
