Lake Panorama National Resort kicked off the second year of its capital fundraising campaign with a golf tournament May 3. Twelve teams competed with the event raising $6,000.
LPN is seeking donations to fund essential capital projects at the LPN golf course. More than $88,000 was raised in 2024, which funded the expansion, leveling and sodding of four forward tee boxes. Additional projects are being considered for this fall, and will be dependent on available funds.
Friends of Lake Panorama, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit charity, is partnering with LPN on this effort. Some funds from the Friends 2025 Beach Ball June 20 will be allocated to the LPN capital campaign.
To encourage additional donations this summer, LPN is conducting a special promotion. Those who donate $500 or more by Aug. 31 will be entered into a drawing to win a 2026 LPN Single Golf Pass with trail fee or cart seat.
One entry is earned for every $500 donated, and there is no limit to the number of entries a person can earn. This is exclusively for direct donations by individuals, couples or families and cannot be combined with fundraising events.
All contributions are tax-deductible, and donors will receive a thank-you letter from Friends of Lake Panorama as a receipt. Donations can be made in memory or in honor of someone.
There are three ways to donate. Write a check payable to Friends of Lake Panorama and send to P.O. Box 488, Panora, Iowa, 50216. Donate via Venmo at Panorama-Friends. Make a credit card donation at friendsoflakepanorama.org. To qualify for this promotion, credit card donations must include an extra $15 for every $500 donated to cover processing fees.
