Thunderstorms and heavy winds moved into the area June 10, unfortunately creating some damage but also providing incredible colors. This orange sky over Burchfield Cove at Lake Panorama is a fascinating phenomenon that can be explained by the role of atmospheric particles, the scattering of light and even the influence of pollution.
